I have always loved Alessi‘s Blow Up collection by Campana Fratelli (the basket currently sits on my coffee table—a wedding gift from a kind friend), and they’ve done it again—this time, in bamboo! I love to see old favorites come back with a twist. The mirrored chrome pieces were welded, and now the bamboo sticks are hand-tied together with natural raffia. Bamboo may be a step back in time with material, but it’s a step forward in design!

    These look dangerous for children, product designs should be safe for both children as well as the environment.
