Northwest Flower & Garden Show Continued

February 21st, 2009 at 08:00am Guest

On Thursday, we posted pictures of our favorite display gardens at the Northwest Flower & Garden Show. And we promised to bring you even more preview pictures, so who are we to leave you hanging?

"L’Eau Sage" by Creative Gardener and Advanced Landscape won us over with its bold purple and green color scheme. The garden features cream gravel and an alfresco dining setup that is inspired by the Mediterranean.

This compact patio garden is one of the displays in a trio of urban gardens. We love the fact that small can still be beautiful.

This is just one part of Fancy Fronds’ massive "Shall We Dance?" garden. Their inspiration was the movie The King and I, and the display featured a reclaimed bamboo floor for ballroom dancing. We love the serene look of this water feature.

Last but not least, is New Leaf Creations’ "Nature’s Classroom" display, which touts the concept that learning should take place outside. The garden encourages children to learn about nature among rocks, water and plants.

Tomorrow is the last day of the show. Be sure to see the gardens for yourself and tell us about your favorite display garden! —Angela Chang

Seems that pots are becoming one of my favorite landscape garden accents.

For planting, but also for water features.

    The colors are limitless.
